Mister Jean-Pierre and his staff have begun the cutting of the 6000 olive trees of the Moulin du Calanquet. The cutting is very useful for higher production, to limit the alternation, to curb the aging and eliminate the superfluous of wood.

From next sunday, the Moulin du Calanquet will be opened on Sundays. The opening hours are : 10-12 and 15-18.

The Moulin du Calanquet is pleased to exhibit 30 sculptures of Serge Amoros from May 16th to May 24th. The opening hour of the exhibition are 9-12 and 14-18,30.

What a special day at the Golf des Baux de Provence! 170 players and 30 people accompanying have participated to a special competition on 9 holes combining at each hole the tasting of a specialty realized by famous chef and a glass of wine.

Our jams are the fruit of a special partnership between Dominique Gauthier, awarded best chef of Switzerland for 2009, and the Moulin du Calanquet. Dominique Gauthier realised the recipies and they are prepared at the mill.

Our new website as well as our online boutique were created by the company Easy. This company has developed us two website completely dynamic in order to promote our company.

 

Young and very dynamic, the agency Easy-ELS Conseil was created by Erwan Le Searc'h. The aim is to offer communication tools easy and efficient by favouring the customers expectations : websites, online boutique, graphic creations, photos, reporting and printing.

The Moulin du Calanquet has just obtained a new award at the International Fair of the Food Industry in Paris with the last innovation created by Anne and Gilles Brun, a range of fruit cocktails mix of fruits, aromatical plants and a little bit of olive oil. The Mill received the 7th worldwide prize Tendancies and Innovations and as a consequence becomes Grand Prix de l'Innovation.

Twelve chefs from Switzerland and from Haute Savoie came in Provence, in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, to discover the olives and the olive oil. At the Moulin du Calanquet, Dominique Gauthier and Serge Labrosse, chefs of the "Chat Botté" at the hotel Beau-Rivage in Geneva and "Buffet de la Gare des Eaux Vives" were the organizers of the day. Received by Anne and Gilles Brun, the owners of the mill, the chefs have picked up the olives. In the fields composed with 5 traditional varieties, they saw the different steps to do olive oil : the washing, the crushing, the malaxage ... before obtaining the green gold.

The last innovation of the Moulin du Calanquet enables the small company to be awarded "Coup de Coeur" au the SIAL (International Fair of the Food Processing) Paris 2006 for the quality and the innovative caracteristics of the product. In competition with 90 countries, Pétales won the 1st prize of the innovation among more than 500 products presented.
