The Moulin du Calanquet : new stop Bienvenue à la Ferme

The association Bienvenue à la Ferme has just selected the Moulin du Calanquet as a discovery farm.

Situated in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, in the heart of the Alpilles, the Moulin du Calanquet was created in 2000. Anne and Gilles Brun, fortified by five generations of family experience on the same site, conceived and buit this mill where the most advances techniques are allied with tradition. The mill handles only the five traditional varieties of the Bouches du Rhône department : Grossane, Salonenque, Verdale des Bouches du Rhône, Aglandau and Picholine. The mill also prepares a mix of the 5 traditional varieties.

The owners would be very grateful to welcome to make you discover their passion : the olive oil. As a matter of fact, you would be able to approach the different machines, see a film showing the different steps to do the olive oil and finally learn how to taste the olive oil.

In addition, in the boutique, you will find cosmetics realised with olive oil; homemade jams, and other products around the olive tree.
