The recknown Guide du Routard recommands the visit of the Moulin du Calanquet in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.

In the heart of the Alpilles, on the Vieux Chemin d'Arles, the Moulin du Calanquet welcome you to make you discover its Provencal products. Anne and Gilles Brun, fifth generation of the family farm, have developped olive oil with the traditional varieties of olives of the Bouches du Rhône. They received a gold medal at a national competition in Paris with the Assemblage and a gold medal at a regional competition with the Aglandau.

During the free visit you would be able to watch a video showing the different steps to do the olive oil from picking to the conservation of the oil. Then, the owners will let you taste the oils and make you discover the various flavors.

The Moulin du Calanquet it is also a boutique full of high quality products without colouring and conservatives.
