Picholines olive oil

Variety:
This is a French variety which is very well established in the Gard, Bouches du Rhône and Var regions. It is a hardy variety which is capable of adapting to different environments but also quite demanding as regards certain cultivation practices. The Picholine is principally used for preserved green table olives. Their oil is of an excellent quality and is difficult to extract.
 
Oil:
Picholine oil is very sharp at the back of the throat, with a real intensity. It has very active herby flavours and notes of pepper coming through at the end.
 
Packaging:
Our oils are available in different formats:
     - 50cl or 75cl glass bottle
     - 25cl metal canister
     - 3 litre or 5 litre plastic container

Uses:
All of the Mill’s olive oils can be used straight from the bottle or whilst cooking. We recommend that you only use Picholine olive oil for finishing your dishes, for example on a soup, on salads, fish, cheese, a granité, etc.
