Apricot with Bourbon vanilla – delicious ! We use apricots which are at optimal maturity in order to capture all the flavours of the fruit during their preparation. We buy the Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar. This type of vanilla is one of the best in the world and mixed with the apricots it is sublime. The small black dots of vanilla scattered through the apricot preserve make it look very nice. All our preserves have been developed in collaboration with Dominique Gauthier, chef at the Hotel Beau Rivage in Geneva (voted Swiss chef of the year 2008). Packaging: The Apricot and vanilla preserve is available in magnificent glass pots in the shape of ink pots which are stackable. They come in sizes of 120g and 350g. The pots are pasteurized, which enables them to have a shelf-life of 3 years. Recommendations for use: The Apricot and vanilla preserve is very good on toast for breakfast, on pancakes, apple tarts, ice creams, yoghurts, etc.
