Lorraine plum preserve

The Lorraine plum is left whole. It is stoned and cut into two pieces. It is then cooked with a little sugar in order to release as much of its flavour as possible.

All our preserves have been developed in collaboration with Dominique Gauthier, chef at the Hotel Beau Rivage in Geneva (voted Swiss chef of the year 2008).
 
Packaging:
The Lorraine plum preserve is available in magnificent glass pots in the shape of ink pots which are stackable. They come in sizes of 120g and 350g. The pots are pasteurized, which enables them to have a shelf-life of 3 years.
 
Recommendations for use:
The Lorraine plum preserve can be spread on toast and goes well with yoghurts. It can enhance pancakes and be used in many other different ways as an accompaniment.
