Moulin du Calanquet : 3 awards at National and Régional Concours

The Moulin du Calanquet was awarded three medals :

- a gold medal at the Concours Général Agricole for the Assemblage Olive Oil

- a bronze medal at the Concours Général Agricole for its Assemblage Olive Oil

- a gold medal at the Concours Régional for the Aglandau Olive Oil.

 

The Concours Général Agricole awarded two of our tanks of Assemblage Olive Oil in the category Olive Oil from France "Fruité Vert". One of our tanks has been awarded a gold medal, the other one a bronze medal. Our Assemblage Olive Oil, which gathers the 5 traditional varieties of the Alpilles (Grossane, Salonenque, Verdale des Bouches du Rhône, Aglandau and Picholine), is very complex on an aromatica perspective. This assemblage is the "cuvée" of the mill. It releases different flavours at different stages of tasting. You will distinguish buttery almond, then herbs and finally artichoke aromas. You will finish with slightly sharper notes in mouth.

 

The 7th jury of the Régional concours of the olive oils from PACA awarded a gold medal of the Olive Oil from France "Fruité Vert" with the Aglandau. This oil is very fluid in mouth and releases a fruitiness distinguished by aromas of cooked artichoke or freshly cut herbs. It is also characterized by a medium intensity sharpness.

 

Le Moulin du Calanquet obtained HVE certification

Le Moulin du Calanquet has obtained HVE certification which is an environmental certification for farms particularly committed to the implementation of environmentally friendly approaches.
